As usual, it is common for K-Pop groups to hold fansigns every time they release a new album. Like any other groups, Wanna One will be having one on June 10th.
However, to get into fansign, fans have to purchase albums. The more albums one purchases, the higher the chances will be for you to be selected for the fansign. Because of such system, many fans are spending lots of money just to get into fansigns to see their favorite idols.
This particular fan shocked netizens after posting a screenshot of her purchase history onto her Instagram account.
She had spent more than 8.5 million won (about USD8000) just on albums!
It was revealed that she bought a total of 554 copies of Wanna One’s new album but yet did not get chosen for the fansign. She was nonetheless devastated and of course sad about the result.
Netizens who had seen the screenshot are commenting on the absurdity of not being chosen after purchasing over 500 copies of albums. They also question if there was a system error when choosing the participants for the fansign.
