'Great Temptation' records the second lowest drama viewer ratings ever of all major broadcasting stations
MBC's Mon-Tues mini-series 'Great Temptation' continues to suffer from record-low viewer ratings.
As of April 10, according to Nielson Korea, the April 9 broadcast of 'Great Temptation' episodes 17 and 18 recorded a national rating of 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively. This is an even lower rating than last week when episode 15 recorded 1.9% and episode 16 recorded 2.1%. Of the three currently airing Mon-Tues dramas on KBS, SBS, and MBC, 'Great Temptation's viewer ratings are dead last. Meanwhile, KBS2's 'The Miracle That We Met' starring EXO's Kai ranked in 1st place with a national rating of 11.2%.
'Great Temptation's 1.6% also marks the lowest recorded drama viewer rating in MBC history. Previously, the record was held by '20th Century Boy Girl' at 1.8%. In terms of dramas among all three major broadcasting stations, 'Great Temptation' is the drama with the second lowest viewer ratings for dramas, since the current rating system went in place back in 2000. The drama with the lowest viewer rating from all three major broadcasting stations since 2000 is KBS2's 'Manhole' with 1.4%. The record for 2nd place, previously held by MBC's '20th Century Boy Girl', has now been replaced by 'Great Temptation's 1.6%.
Meanwhile, 'Great Temptation' stars Woo Do Hwan, Red Velvet's Joy, Moon Ga Young, Kim Min Jae, and more, and tells the story of chaebol youths in their 20's playing a dangerous game of love.
