An entertainment company that can manage well and see potential from artists will help their stars achieve success in their career.

To survive in the entertainment industry in Korea isn't easy for all artists. Instead of being an independent artist, most of them decide to go sign contract with a management company. The agency will take the reponsibity of finding advertising opportunities, or movies for their "artists". The idols are equipped with the best music products.

One of the most famous entertainment companies in Korea

If an artist choose the right agency that has both reputation and high remuneration, then the name of the artist will soon become famous and vice versa, a management company without reputation and is bad at management will hold back the artist's success. That is why, when the contract expires, most artists will have to consider resigning the contract with the old company or finding a better company.

1. Jang Nara (from SM Entertainment to Pure Entertainment)

In 2001, Jang Nara debuted under one of the most powerful management companies - SM. However, while working as a singer and actress under SM Ent, Jang Nara hardly received the company's support for her talent. In 2002, SM unilaterally terminated the contract with Jang Nara because she wasn't able to compete with her peers at that time.

Later, she chose Pure Entertainment, a young company compared to SM. But here, Jang Nara almost showed off all of her talents. Within five years under Pure Entertainment, Jang Nara has played nearly 8 TV series, receiving seven awards for the most favorite actress, Asian Star, the most favorite singer categories. The album Sweet Dream became the best-selling album in Korea, helping her win many awards, including two Daesang awards in 2002.

Eventhough she has moved to another company and mainly focuses in acting area, we can't deny that Pure Entertainment has made a huge contribution to the popularity of Jang Nara in Asia.
